WARNING!! WARNING!! i usually suck in the nfl. going to rate my plays the same as i do in college. here we go.
tennessee -3 over miami (best bet)...........my one and only best bet for the week. dolphins are in a world of trouble. i am a miami fan, and i am depressed over this season. no passing game, no running game. a pretty good defense which will get tired real fast. tennesse won't kill them, but they will cover.
colts +3.5 over new england (regular play).........this is just a gut feeling. gotta play this one, it is the opener. new england a great team, no doubt. but, colts are pretty good themselves and i think have something to prove. this is a chance for them to make a statement. this just smells like a game won by a field goal on either side.
st louis -11 over arizona (top play)..........this is a play against arizona. they are bad. st louis might start slow, but they will be all over arizona in this one. i look for st louis to score at least 37 here and get the cover.
pittsburgh -4 over oakland (top play)...........let me start by saying i hate the steelers. but, i get the feeling they are going to be a really good team this year, could even make it to the superbowl. steelers always tough at home. my gut tells me they come out ready to play and win this one going away.
baltimore -3 over cleveland (regular play).............alot of talk about the ravens this year. defense wins championships and they have a great one. should be a good game being at cleveland. i just don't see cleveland scoring more than ten in this one and baltimore has got to be good for at least 14, don't they?
